About Mr. Nickerson

Guten Tag! I have been the German teacher at CHS since 2011. I grew up in the Metro-East. I went to Triad High School, and graduated in 2007. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, and studied Teaching of German. Later, I earned my Masters degree from UMSL in Administration.

Personally, my wife, Rachel, and I have been married since October of 2015. Our son, Patrick, was born in May of 2018. Outside of school I enjoy doing things outdoors - barbecuing, camping, hiking, running, etc. We are big sports fans, as well. We, of course, enjoy watching the Cardinals. I enjoy watching the Bundesliga (German soccer league), particularly Eintracht Frankfurt, as they are the team near Gedern, our Sister City. Nothing, though, compares to my love of two things sports: the Blues and IndyCar.
