Personal:
Hi there! My name is Ashley Ramsey. I teach Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish II Honors.
I live in Waterloo with my husband, Mike, and our 3 children, Elliott (9), Evelyn (6) and Emma (3). Our dog, Stella, is a Boston Terrier. I am a fan of all of the STL sports teams. In my free time I enjoy walking and jogging, spending time outside, eating ice-cream, going to restaurants, and watching movies/playing games with my kids.
Education / Professional:
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish/Secondary Education (K-12) from Murray State University (Murray, Kentucky) in 2010. Before I started teaching, I worked at a local company as a Bilingual Disability Claims Specialist for about three years. This will be my 13th year of teaching Spanish at CHS! Go Eagles!
Travel Experience:
In 2006 I went on a 10 day trip with my high school to Spain, Portugal, and Africa.
In 2009 I studied abroad for a semester in Spain and I also traveled to Italy for a week during that time.
In 2015 I went on a mission trip to Guatemala.
