Statement
I’m fascinated by entertainment facilities and complexes centered on human design. Much of my work revolves around the man-made but is also inspired by the possibilities of the natural landscape. I create bird-eye perspective acrylic analog paintings for my interest in showing the viewer vase environmental landscapes. In addition to creating fine art, I am also a commercial graphic designer who finds satisfaction in the design of marketing material to promote events. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment of seeing a high turnout with my various graphic designs and marketing campaigns.
My emphasis, theme parks, is my main source of inspiration in my works. Exposure to destinations such as Disneyland as a kid gave me an interest in how amazingly fun theme parks are, and I’d like to be a part of them! As an artist at heart, this subject matter helps me connect my overall interests and passions with my artistic capabilities, toward a possible career path of being a creative designer.
Connecting an imaginative experience to a viewer is my pride and joy in my work, by creating various original and established experiences through a different lens. From starting with a blank analog and digital canvas to something that feels out of this world, it’s quite breathtaking thinking that’s what I do. My younger self would be proud.
