Colquitt County High School has purchased premium access to the Nearpod platform for staff and students. This purchase allows teachers to integrate activities and collaborative opportunities into pre-existing lessons in Google Slides or Microsoft Powerpoint presentations.
We are obligated by the federal government to share Digital Citizenship information with our students each year. We have created a website using lessons from Common Sense media that apply to every grade level with important lessons about internet safety and citizenship. You should find the link in the slides on the right.
Each school will choose when to utilize and deliver these lessons but you will be expected to sign off stating that you have taught the lessons. School administrators will also be asked to sign-off stating their school location is compliant and all lessons have been delivered. (sign-off sheets can be found at the bottom of the Policies page.)
Teachers should teach lessons and turn in verification sheets to media specialists before September 20, 2021.
If you have any questions, please let us know or reach out to your school administrators or media specialists.
