We Have To Talk About This: Responding To Abigail Shrier’s Bad Therapy:

Iatrogenesis is when the patient worsens because of the medical treatment designed for their benefit.  In her most recent book, "Bad Therapy: Why The Kids Aren't Growing Up," Abigail Shrier labels much of what we do as school counselors and helping professionals as iatrogenic.  Well, do we make kids worse?  Do we make them better?  In this session, we'll start the discussion, think through our practice, and know how best to move forward.
