About Me

Before joining the Ph.D. program at Leeds, I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder's College of Engineering & Applied Science with a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics.

In addition to my research, I am passionate about exploring the world around me. Being in Colorado, exploration naturally leads me to the mountains. So far, I have summited 44 of the 53 distinct 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado. I am also an accomplished racing and freestyle skier. I attended state championship races for giant slalom in high school and during my undergraduate studies I was a member of the CU Freestyle Ski Team.
