Q: What if I find a DEI-centered opportunity that isn’t listed on the DEI Actions page?
A: If you know of/learn of any opportunities that should fulfill a DEI Action, but it isn’t listed on this site, please share on the Slack #DEI channel or email it to Debbie, so that it can be added as an option to all participants.

A: Nope! As of July 15th, The Challenge has been updated to allow the 15 DEI Actions to be completed at any point during the June 15th - September 30th window. In an effort to be as inclusive as possible, and to emphasize the importance of this work, participants are welcome to work at the pace that most suits them within the challenge period. The Common Actions will be released no earlier than on the 15th of June, July, and August, to allow for adequate, thoughtful pacing. It can be exhausting and challenging work, to acknowledge our privileges and to figure out how to adjust our practices to build an equitable and inclusive culture. The three-month Common Actions model allows us to be mindful about caring for ourselves as we are reflect on and apply the content in which we are engaging.

A: Many of the businesses offer online ordering options, but the prize designation form may offer some alternative suggestions, as well. If this is really something you're worried about, connect with Debbie.
