This is a monthly seminar of colloquium-style talks given by graduate students from JILA and affiliated departments to present their research to the grad student community.
The duration of talks is flexible, so the seminar can be tailored to fit students' interests. We will feature talks across various research fields in both experiment and theory. The seminar series is a great way to hone your presentation skills, prepare for conference talks and other presentations, and learn about the fascinating research being conducted by students at JILA and our affiliated departments! All students, regardless of department affiliation, are welcome to attend. We ask that Fellows/PIs not attend these talks to encourage student attendance and participation. We welcome postdocs and staff to attend and contribute to the discussion, regardless of department or JILA affiliation.
Please come by and explore the outstanding research conducted by our grad students!Â

We want to revitalize the Debbie Jin room (S209) to encourage the use of underutilized space. We envision it being a general use lounge for anyone to unwind, grab a coffee, draw on a whiteboard, relax, play some ping-pong or mario kart, etc. Let us know if you are interested in arts and crafts or thrifting to help make this place more welcoming (for cheap!).
