Getting Around Boulder

Public Bus and rail (RTD)

RTD is the public transportation for Denver and the surrounding cities (which includes Boulder). Tickets can be purchased from the RTD app which can be found on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Cash is also accepted on buses but you must have exact change. 

There is a coach bus that goes between the Denver International Airport and Boulder. The cost is $10.50 for the airport bus and the ticket is valid all day for all RTD buses and trains. (The Airport Bus schedule can be found here.)

Ride Hailing (UBER/LYFT) 

Denver and Boulder has an abundance of ride share drivers. UBER and Lyft are the largest ride sharing companies in the area. You can download the UBER and/or Lyft app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. 

Taxi service

In Boulder, zTrip is the predominate taxi service. To call a zTrip taxi, you can download the zTrip app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, or you can request a ride through their website www.ztrip.com/book-a-ride.

Denver's taxi service is Denver Yellow Taxi Service. To book a taxi with Denver Yellow Taxi Service by calling (303) 777-7777.

Bike rentals

Boulder is a very bike-friendly city and Boulder B-cycle is a bike rental service with bikes all over Boulder. To rent a bike, make an account at boulder.bcycle.com then find the B-cycle docking station and check-out a bike. There are multiple B-cycle docks on campus and around the conference.
