The Graduate Association of Student in Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder (lovingly abbreviated to GASP š±) was founded in 2021 with the following goals in mind:
Provide a means of student-student communication
Increase the weight of graduate student voice in the department
Organize social events for graduate students
Provide a venue for sharing information
Promote professional development opportunities for students (especially beyond academia)
Explore the site to access resources for prospective, incoming, and current students; to read about and get involved with the initiatives that GASP is taking on; to participate in social and academic events with the rest of the physics community.
All currently enrolled graduate physics students are members of GASP by default. If you would like to get more involved, have a comment or question, or would like to submit an (optionally anonymous) issue form, please see our contact page!
Weekly meetings, colloquia & talks, thesis defenses, and other related events will be posted here!
