CU Boulder's very own Tea Club is a social group that gathers to share our love for tea!

In appreciating the tastes, cultivation, and history behind tea, we intend to share it with our peers at CU Boulder. We understand that getting into tea can be intimidating and costly. Due to this, we have decided to ensure all members receive free tea at our meetings! All are welcome to come at no cost to you!

In addition to creating a community of tea appreciation in CU, we strive to broaden into a local tea community as well through connections to local tea companies and organizations.

Once upon a time (2022), young Atticus was craving some delicious teas. He grabbed his gold pouch, and went upon Boulder’s Street of Pearls to the Ku Cha House of Tea. Inside, the great tea lords displayed to young Atticus their offerings. Rock oolongs from Wuyi, pearls of jasmine, and pu erhs from Yunnan. Atticus’ eyes turned to hearts and smoke blew from his ears. He fumbled for his gold pouch, and exclaimed: “Please! Take my money!” But the tea lords, looking at his meager collection of gold, held their bellies, bellowing with laughter. In return for all of Atticus’ gold, they offered him a single jasmine pearl. Atticus’ eyes widened. He grabbed his pouch, and stormed out of the store, cursing the tea lords for their greed.

From that day, he devised an ingenious plan. He would found a tea kingdom of his own, one where teas were available to everyone for free. One where members could get a 20% discount purchasing from allied tearritories like Mem Tea! He joined arms with other tea lords, Gabe, Andy and Daniel, and led under the great general Willem of Dafoe, they joined arms in Farrand Castle. The CU Tea Club, was created.
