COMM 4000 Advanced Topics in Communication
This series of 5-week, one-hour courses will engage students in the process of professional-level communication and writing by focusing on the communication industry, communication processes and creative techniques used in corporate communication professions.

Writing and Planning for Organizational Communication (Jan. 16 to Feb. 16)(almost full!) COMM 4000-802 – Advanced Topics in Communication: Internal Organizational Communication (Feb. 19 to March 22)
(still has seats!) COMM 4000-803 – Advanced Topics in Communication: External Organizational Communication (April 1 to May 2)
Students will also learn tactics to achieve specific organizational goals in producing messages and documents for internal and external audiences, such as press releases, SWOT analysis, marketing pieces and more.
Classes can be taken individually for 1-hour credit or repeated for 2 or 3 credits on the different topics listed above during the noted 5-week time frames.

COMM 4000 (1-6) Advanced Topics in Communication
Analyzes special interest areas of communication theory, research, and practice. Course format involves lecture, discussion, investigative analysis, and practical application. May be repeated for credit on different topics. Allows multiple enrollments in same term. Requisites: Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Juniors or Seniors).
