SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Authors should submit a 1-3 page position paper describing their perspective on collaboration analytics, particular approaches being used (e.g., coding schemes and/or computational analysis methods), and the nature of the data they are collecting/analyzing. The papers can address ongoing work (e.g., design of collaborative experiments, data collection and/or coding of data), theoretical approaches to characterizing collaborative skills, computational approaches to analysis of multi-party, multimodal collaboration data, or completed experiments or demonstrations). At the workshop we will encourage authors who have data to show artifacts of collaboration data (e.g., video, audio, transcript, etc.) that they are working with, the context of their collaborative tasks, and their analytic methodology.

The position papers should note the presenters and their affiliations, and include a 150 word abstract. Proposals should be emailed to collaborativeanalyticslak@gmail.com and authors will receive a confirmation of proposal submission. The deadline for proposals is December 16, 2022. All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two members of the workshop program organizers. Notification of proposal acceptance will be provided no later than January 13, 2023.

Following the workshop, papers will be compiled into a compendium and summary paper that outlines the full space of collaboration analytics. These papers will be made available through the workshop organizer’s webpage with links widely disseminated through the different participating collaborative analytic communities (e.g., LAK, Team Science, CSCL, CPS, NLU).
