I am from Fort Collins, Colorado and am currently a senior in Aerospace Engineering at CU Boulder with minors in Applied Math and Spanish. I am also part of the Engineering Honors Program and I am the President for the CU Cycling Team.
I am most interested in aerodynamics, CAD, and product design. I am a Certified SolidWorks Professional and am experienced with programming in C++, MATLAB, and Python. I earned the Seal of Biliteracy in my senior year of high school by demonstrating my abilities in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish.
I hope to develop my design skills by working towards the CSWPA exams. I would also like to continue to hone my coding abilities through personal projects that allow me to apply what I have learned in new ways.
I enjoy racing road, track, mountain, and cyclocross bikes year-round. I began racing my freshman year on my high school's team. I now race for CU Boulder and spend my free time training on the roads around Fort Collins and Boulder. After three years of Nordic ski racing, I prefer to cheat by taking the lift and spend my winters alpine skiing and snowboarding.
