Below is a list of critical design criteria for this project:
The design shall be efficient in space, about as compact as a normal tool chest (give exact volume of storage per volume of overall space)
The design shall show that it could be scaled larger, primarily vertically
The design shall be easy and intuitive for a user to operate (untrained user operates within 20 secs of interaction)
The following list provides secondary design criteria for our product which we would meet in a high-fidelity prototype outside of the class
The design shall have easy access to essential components for ease of repair
The design shall hold up to 50lbs in a single rack
The design shall be operated both by hand and by motorÂ
