There are many ways to get involved and to make new friends at CMS. Here are the sports and activities that CMS students participated in last year!

CMS Musical
If you love to sing, dance, and perform, consider auditioning for the CMS musical, which will be performed in the fall. If you don't want to be on the stage, you can help design props or join the stage crew. More information will be shared by Mr. Hartung at the start of the school year.
Student Council
The Student Council is led by eighth grade students, but they need representatives from all grades. If you're interested in student government and service, look for more information to be shared in your advisory. Student Council is led by Mrs. Verdone.
Games Club
If you like board games or video games, consider joining Games Club, which meets after school each week. Listen for more information in the school announcements. Games Club is advised by Mr. Meyers.
Choir
Do you love to sing? Mr. Hartung would love to have you as part of the CMS choir. Choir is a part of your daily class schedule, so make sure that you're signed up by checking your schedule in Genesis.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society is made up of seventh and eighth graders who qualify based on their academics and extracurricular participation. Sixth graders will be notified by Mrs. Tinges and Mrs. Rodgers at the end of the sixth grade year if they are eligible.
Design Club
If you are artistic and/or interested in graphic design, the design club could be a great fit for you! The design club uses a Cricut machine and other crafting techniques to design spiritwear, gifts, and more! The design club is run by Mrs. Rodgers.
Chess Club
If you like to play chess, or want to learn how, consider joining the chess club. The chess club meets regularly in the LMC. More information will be available at the start of the school year.
Band & Orchestra
Do you play an instrument? If you do, make sure that you're signed up for band or orchestra by checking your schedule in Genesis. The band is directed by Mr. Lerch, and the orchestra is directed by Mr. DeSantis.
Cappelli Crew
Cappelli Crew is a service club that participates in volunteer efforts throughout the school year. If you're interested, look out for more information at the start of the school year.
Kindness Club
Do you love spreading joy in the world? The Kindness Club is a club committed to spreading joy around Collingswood Middle School and the local community. If you are passionate about making our school a welcoming, loving place, look out for more information from Miss Whitman.
Social Justice League
The Social Justice League is committed to promoting equality for all and standing up for the rights of others. They meet regularly to come up with ways they can spread awareness and promote justice in our school, our community, and our nation. Look out for more information from Ms. Alexander.
Yearbook
Do you like photography or design? If so, consider helping out as part of the yearbook team. The yearbook crew works hard to make sure that the pages of the CMS yearbook look fabulous. If interested, look out for more information from Ms. Gillan and Miss Whitman.
