Here is a little bit about me!
Hello! This is my 9th year of teaching at Collegiate Academy of Colorado and my 12th year of teaching overall. As always, I am thrilled to be apart of the CAC team, remotely and in person, and to work with the wonderful community of students, teaching staff, and families that we have here.
I was born and raised in Durango, Colorado where I also attended Fort Lewis College and earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Elementary Education K-6. I am married to Mr. Weber and we have a five year old daughter named Kinslee Lou and a 5 month old baby boy named Rudy Lee. Kinslee is starting Kindergarten this year at CAC and Rudy has been such a joy raising this summer.
My interests include playing grass & court volleyball, flower gardening, camping, and spending time with my husband, friends, and family.
The thing that I love most about teaching is developing strong character and a growth mind-set within each student- based on our school's core values. The best part of my job is seeing each child move on to fifth grade, with confidence, readiness, and dignity because they recognize within themselves that they are better peers, scholars, individuals, and leaders. Lastly, I love to read aloud to students and bring their favorite stories and characters to life. Looking forward to another amazing year!

I was born and raised right here in Littleton, CO. I attended Ute Meadows Elementary School, Deer Creek Middle School, and graduated from Chatfield Senior High. I come from a family of four. My father is a Colorado native and my mother has spent most of her life here in Colorado. I have an older sister, Jessie, who is married and is a hair stylist in the Denver area.
I spent the first two years of my college experience in Fort Collins, CO and then my junior year I transferred to UNC in Greeley, CO to pursue my degree in Elementary Education. In December of 2015 I graduated from UNC with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with Elementary Licensure.
I enjoy spending my free time with my dog (Millie), family, and friends. I also enjoy doing activities outdoors, especially running and paddle boarding.
This is my fifth year here, at Collegiate, and I am so excited to be a part of the Collegiate family again this year! I am looking forward to getting to know and work with you all this year!
