We are currently accepting new clients! Therapy provides a safe space to develop the underlying factor for true happiness- meaningful human connection. The therapeutic experience at Collaborative Care is tailored to your individual needs. We take time listening to you and value your insight to develop your treatment plan.
Our team of licensed Therapists are experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds with various counseling needs. We provide and are trained in the most current evidence-based treatment modalities.
The therapeutic experience at Collaborative Care is tailored to your individual needs. You and your therapist work together to establish treatment goals and discuss treatment options to obtain the outcomes you desire.
Couples Therapy
With your couples therapist or therapists, partners learn and develop healthy relational and communication skills to strengthen and improve the relationship. It may be recommended for each partner to have their own individual therapist that they can each have couples sessions with. Please discuss these options with your therapist. Your input is important.
Family Therapy
Our Therapists work with families and family systems to improve communication, healthy boundaries and expectations to improve family functioning, safety, and fulfillment.
Child and Adolescent Therapy
For children and adolescents, we offer age appropriate treatments that focus on developing emotional intelligence, risk assessment and decision making, assertive communication, safety and boundaries, and relationship development. We work creatively through talk and play therapy approaches. Online therapy may be an option for older children or when a caregiver feels online therapy would be a good fit.
Substance Use and Addictions Treatment
For adults and adolescents struggling with substance use or addiction, we offer assessments and treatment. Assessments can help determine whether treatment is appropriate as well as the necessary frequency and level treatment. Treatment is tailored to the individual's needs and may include individual sessions as well as family sessions.
Canine Assisted Therapy
Canine assisted therapy incorporates the role of a therapy dog into the therapy session. A therapy dog is shown to increase the therapeutic outcomes for both children and adults. At Collaborative Care, our therapy dog Sasha is a 2 year old Irish Wolfhound / Standard poodle mix who was specifically selected and trained for therapy work.
