Parts of the flower
The flower is the reproductive part of the plant.
It makes seeds to produce new plants.
A flower has three (3) parts:
- Petals.
- Stamen,
- Pistil.
Most of the plants reproduce through seeds.
POLLINATION
POLLINATION
- Flowers use pollen to make seeds. This process is called POLLINATION.
- Pollen is a fine powder. It is usually yellow or orange. Pollen is in the STAMENS.
- The PISTIL make seeds with the pollen.
- Bees, butterflies, birds, insects and the wind move the pollen from the stamens to the pistil.
- Then, the flower turns into fruit.
