What information is collected:
Personal
We may ask you to provide us with Personal Information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal Information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, email address and telephone number. We will only request personal information relevant to the product and/or service we are supplying.
Personal Information may be gathered when you register for newsletters and marketing updates and/or participate in competitions and promotions either through our own Sites or through a third party. We will only gather this information if we have your permission to do so.
We may ask you to complete a health questionnaire and/or a disclaimer when participating in activities. We will only request personal information relevant to the activity being undertaken.
When booking on behalf of others (e.g. accommodation, canoe trips) we may request basic personally identifiable information for these additional parties. This may include, but is not limited to, their name and age, if under 18. This information will only be used for the purpose of the booking and will not be added to any marketing databases.

Some of the information you provide may be sensitive. This includes, but is not restricted to, health issues and dietary requirements. We only collect sensitive information from you that is relevant to the product and/or service we are providing. Sensitive information is only collected if provided voluntarily by you. When we are organising an event or wedding we may liaise with a single contact in order to collate all of the information required to deliver the event or wedding. This may include Sensitive Information about attendees, such as health issues, access requirements and/or dietary requirements.

If you purchase a product or service from us using a credit or debit card we will gather your card details using a secure third party card payment processing company.
Preferences
We may ask you for information relating to your personal preferences in order to improve our customer experience. You are not obliged to supply this information.

We use specialist card processing companies for all purchases made by credit or debit card online, over the telephone and in store including, but not restricted to, Stripe, Square, Paypal and iZettle.
We use third party companies including, but not restricted to, Mailchimp to collate, process and store your personal information on our behalf in relation to distribution of promotions, special offers, announcements and the fforest newsletter (fforest Rustle) and mailers (fforest Messenger).
We use third party companies to generate and manage quotations for events and weddings including, but not restricted to Qwilr and Pipedrive.
Group Bookings
For group bookings, large events and weddings, one person may be appointed a Point of Contact to collate information on behalf of all attendees. This person may collect Personal Information relating to your booking to enable us to process a booking on your behalf. They will only collect Personal Information relevant to your accommodation booking. As part of a group booking, you may be required to provide some Sensitive Information relating to health issues, access requirements and/or dietary requirements. If you would prefer, you can contact us using the details below to provide this information directly to us.
The Point of Contact for a group or event booking will not collect your Financial Information. Once we have created your booking we will provide you with a secure payment link to make a card payment and/or bank details to make a bank transfer.
How we use your Information:
Bookings and Sales of Products and Services
We will use the Personal Information you provide to fulfil any bookings and/or orders placed by you via any of our Sites.
We will use the Personal Information you provide to contact you if we need to discuss any aspect of your booking or purchase, make an amendment and/or cancellation.
We will use the Personal Information you provide to make an informed decision about suitability for participation in certain activities.
We will only collect relevant data and the data that we collect will only be used for the purpose for which it is collected.
Third Parties
When making a booking or buying a product or service from one of our Sites you will be directed to an ecommerce site to complete the transaction. Your Personal Information captured by these third-party sites will be used solely to fulfil your booking or purchase.
When making a booking or purchase using a credit or debit card you will be directed to the website of a secure card processing company. The credit card processing company does not use, share, retain or store this information other than to process payments in relation to your purchase.
We will not share your Personal Information with a third party without your prior consent.
