About Me

Get ready to rock out with Mr. Matney, your dedicated Band Director and saxophone superstar! Now entering my fourth year of teaching, I’m more excited than ever to continue fostering a love of music in this amazing community.

Outside the band room, I serve as a worship leader and youth leader, investing in students both musically and spiritually. I also lead the D&D and Magic club, where we dive into a variety of RPGs—whether you’re into fantasy, sci-fi, or anything in between, there’s something for everyone.
