Welcome to my class! I teach many things here at Colcord High School. I teach Fundamentals of Technology, Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing, Yearbook, and Broadcasting. Please feel free to reach out to me by email to make an appointment by email at mbrueckner@colcordschools.com.
It is a privilege to teach your children and I do not take the responsibility lightly. I will work with your child to challenge them daily.

About me
My name is Megan Brueckner, and I’m proud to be a Colcord Hornet! I am from Colcord and reside in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from John Brown University. I’ve been in the business world for the past 15 years in various leadership roles including: mortgage underwriting, loan officer, insurance producer, and banking. This will be my third year as a teacher at Colcord High School.
When I first went to college my degree path was for teaching, however, I switched it to business. This career change is full circle and where I’m called to be. Teaching has always been a dream of mine. I have a passion to see our local kids grow and learn in all areas to make them well rounded adults ready to take on the world.
Personally, I have been married for 13 years to my high school sweetheart who I met while attending Colcord Schools. Together we have four great kids whose first initials spell EPIC. They are 19, 16, 11, and 6. We spend our free time watching our kids in sports – gymnastics, track, football, and playing superheroes.
I look forward to building a relationship with you as partners to be front and center to watch your child’s growth and development!
