About Me: 

I was born and raised in Colcord and I am a 1991 graduate of Colcord High School. I have been married to my husband Grant for 19 years and I have 3 grown children, 2 son-n-laws, and 4 grandchildren. I attended NSU in Tahlequah from 1991-1995 and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my 7th year of teaching, as I stayed home for 15 years to raise my family. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and currently a 4th and 5th grade split. I have really enjoyed each age. I love to see the "light bulb" moments when something a student has been working on suddenly makes sense. I firmly believe that relationships have to be formed with each student to get the most out of them academically.
