The exterior of the historic courthouse appeared in many scenes of "Halloweentown" as City Hall. The interior of the courtroom also served as Mayor Kalabar's office. The stained glass was installed for the movie and remains in the court room today.

Many of the scenes were shot in and around the plaza in front of the Historic Courthouse. The "Halloweentown" pumpkin on display in October is not the original from the movie. The replica was created by Byron Ohler of Michael Curry Design Studio in Scappoose.

Both the interior and exterior dentist office scene was filmed at 61 Plaza Square. The white medicine cabinet visible in the background is on display in the museum.
