Hello there! My name is Ms. Smith, and I am so excited you are here. As a graduate from the University of Connecticut's Early Childhood Education Program, teaching little humans has always been a passion of mine. I teach a wide range of child development courses at Bacon Academy, one of which being this integrated fieldwork experience for students at Bacon Academy to become preschool teachers! Curriculum Specialist - Maily Bravo

Hello! My name is Miss Maily. I am a senior at Bacon Academy and I am 17 years old, and this is my second year in the preschool program. I am the curriculum and behavior specialist, and specialize in working with the teachers and the kids. I help with lesson planning, organizing the headteacher weeks, and working on behavioral plans. My job as a manager is to make sure the teachers get the help they need. I spent last year practicing and learning the ways to plan a head teacher week, organize thoughts and ideas and turn it into something that could be taught to the preschoolers in an engaging and fun way. Family Liaison - Brynn Herboldt

Hello everyone! My name is Miss Brynn, I am a senior at Bacon Academy, and I am 17 years old. I took the preschool class this year, in addition to early and middle childhood in previous years, and I have loved it so much that I am back as a manager this year! My role this year is the Family Liasion. I do all of the registration work, take photos of the preschoolers throughout the year, send out any information and updates to parents and families, and work on parent-teacher conferences! This past year, I have absolutely loved getting to meet the preschoolers, watch their personalities emerge, and talk to their families as well! Event Coordinator - Bela Dec

Hi eveyone, I’m Miss Bela. I’m a 17 year old and a senior here at Bacon Academy. I’m so excited to be returning to the Beginner Bobcat Preschool as the Event Coordinator. Last year I had the opportunity to be a part of BBPS and loved it so much I decided to come back for this year. I will be in charge of planning all of our preschool events such as Open House and Field Day. I’m so excited to work with new students and teachers this year. Observation Specialist - Maddie Levasseur

Hello!! My name is Miss. Maddie and I am 17 years old and a senior at Bacon Academy. Last year I was a BBPS teacher and loved the expierence so much I am coming back this year as the observation specialist manager! My position consists of instructing and mentoring the teachers on how to write running record observations, learn about proper data collection, and how to fill out a report card for the preschool students! Miss Addi

Hi, I'm Miss Addi! I am 14 years old and a Sophomore at Bacon Academy. As a Freshman, I took Early Childhood as well as having a ton of experience over the past few years babysitting, working with ages ranging from 1-10. I am very passionate about working with preschool children because it's so incredibly rewarding to be a part of their learning journey. This year I am super excited to create an exciting and engaging learning environment for the little ones and I'm looking forward to the fun year ahead! I cannot wait to meet everyone!

Miss Alexa

Hello everyone, My name is Miss Alexa. I am 16 years old and a Junior at Bacon Academy. I took the early childhood class with Ms. Smith my freshman year. I am also trusted by both my parents and my aunts and uncles to watch my siblings and baby cousins. I am so excited to meet all of our tiny humans and see the excitement when they learn a new skill. Hello!! I’m Miss Arya, I’m 16 and I’m a junior this year at bacon academy. I’ve worked with kids before and babysit a lot for a few different kids, I’m really excited to meet all of the kids and see how all of them learn differently and how they interact with their environment!!

Miss Cameron

Hi! My name is Miss Cameron. I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Bacon Academy. I took Early Childhood in 9th grade and I have also babysat my neighbors. I am really excited to have the opportunity to become a teacher at the Beginner Bobcat Preschool class. One thing I am particularly excited for is to meet the preschoolers and to have fun teaching them and doing fun activities with them.

Miss Delaney

Hi everyone!! My name is Miss. Delaney and I am 16 years old. I am a junior at Bacon Academy! When I was a freshman I took early childhood and I loved it so much! I used to baby sit my younger cousins. This year, I am so excited to have the chance to become a teacher in the beginner bobcat preschool class! Specifically I am excited for big events that also involve families. I also am excited to be a head teacher and run the classroom. I especially want to make organized and cute lesson plans to keep the kids entertained.

Miss Ella

Hello! My name is Miss Ella, I am 16 years old and a Junior at Bacon Academy. I took the Early Childhood class my freshman year and am currently enrolled in the Middle Childhood class as well as Preschool! On top of these classes, I volunteer at CES every week during the school year and really enjoy working with kids. I occasionally babysit kids aging from 4-12, but I do spend more time volunteering than working. I really look forward to watching the little ones make friends and have a great time! I can not wait to start class and look forward to meeting all the kiddos!

Miss Emma

Hi! My name is Miss Emma. I am 17 years old and a senior at Bacon Academy! When I was a Freshman, I took early childhood and I loved it! In 2022 I started volunteering at a daycare, then when I turned 16 I started working there and getting paid. The kids there always make me smile and bring me joy. I’ve worked with children from ages 6 weeks-12 years old. I’ve also babysat many family’s kids over the years. When I’m older I want to either be a preschool or kindergarten teacher. I am excited to work with these new children and help grow their brains with new, fun stuff. I cannot wait to meet the new preschoolers!

Miss Gabby

Hello there! I am Miss. Gabby, I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Bacon academy. When I was a freshman, I took early childhood and enjoyed it so much I decided to come back to be a teacher at the Beginner Bobcat Preschool. Over the summer I took care of many of my friends' younger siblings including a 3 year old and a 5 year old. This year, I am so excited to be able to work with the beginner bobcat preschool and see the educational growth and development that the kids make over time. One thing I am particularly excited for is being able to plan lessons for the kids that are fun and educational that they all enjoy! I cannot wait to meet the preschoolers this year! Hi, my name is Miss Lauren, I am 16 years old and going into my junior year of high school at Bacon Academy. Some experience I have had is the early childhood class I took here at Bacon Academy. I am so excited for everyone to get here and for all the fun things we have planned from September and June. I would say I am most excited for field day with all of the kids. I can not wait to meet everyone this year and make so many fun memories with everyone!!

Hi there, My name is Miss Leah! I am 16 turning 17 and I am a junior at Bacon Academy. I took Early Childhood last year with Mrs Smith, I also volunteer at Colchester Elementary School which is similar to our Middle Childhood course! This summer and continuing into this school year I have been working at Town and Country Early Learning Center in town. I work with all ages from infants to school ages, Including a preschool program where I have gotten loads of experience, I am excited to get more experience with your preschoolers! I am also super excited for my head teacher week!

Hi!! My name is Miss. Liana, I am 17 years old, And I am a senior at Bacon Academy. I have experience with babysitting, and I worked at Curley’s briefly last winter, when I was a freshman I took Early Childhood, and as a Junior I took middle childhood. This year I am so very excited to have the chance to become a teacher for the year at their beginner bobcat preschool class. I am so excited to meet and get to know everyone this year!!

Miss Maddyn

Hello! I am Miss Maddyn. I am 16 years old and I am a junior at Bacon Academy. I currently work at a daycare and love working with children. I have also taken all of the childhood development classes that are available to take in Bacon as well as volunteering at CES. One thing I am excited for when the children arrive is to be able to communicate with them and become a safe place for them. I want them to always feel that they are extremely comfortable with me! I am looking forward to meeting the kids!

Miss Madi

Hi friends, my name is Miss Madi, I am 15 years old and a sophomore here at Bacon Academy! During summer break freshman year I taught at a Taylor Swift dance camp for ages 5-12, I also took an Early Childhood prerequisite class freshman year. This year I am so excited to create different activities that are not only fun but also engaging and educational. I am so excited to meet the preschoolers and am looking forward to a fun year.

Hey everyone! My name is Miss Evy. I am 16 years old and a junior at Bacon Academy! In my freshman year of high school I took Early Childhood, I babysit for one family whenever they need me with ages of 10, 7, and 5, and I also work with children at a playcafe. This year I am really excited to get the opportunity to become a teacher and see the growth of the kids throughout the year!

Hello! My name is Miss Riley. I am a Junior in Bacon Academy and I am 16 years old. When I was a freshman I took Early Childhood and Middle Childhood sophomore year. I have worked at a daycare over the summer as an assistant preschool teacher. I am excited to be actively helping as a teacher during different centers for the beginner bobcat preschool. I am also excited to plan and implement lesson plans for the preschoolers this year based on specific themed weeks. I am so eager to meet all the new faces for this year's beginner bobcat preschool year!

Hello families! I am Miss Taylor and I am currently a senior at Bacon Academy and I am 17 years old. I have worked at a local daycare for over a year and I am experienced with children 3 months to 6 years old. My biggest goal when working with kids is making sure they feel like this is a safe place for them where they can be vulnerable and express their feelings. I am beyond excited to help the kiddos learn and grow this year!!

Hello everyone!! My name is Miss Elina. I am 16 years old and a junior at Bacon Academy high school. I have taken early childhood and middle childhood with Miss Smith. I loved the courses and it inspired me to become a preschool teacher this year! I also love kids and have been surrounded with them my whole life. I am most excited to teach all of the preschoolers. Hi everyone! My name is Miss Peyton. I am 16 years old and I am a junior at Bacon Academy. Over the last couple years, I have taken other courses such as Early Childhood and Middle Childhood. Taking those classes has inspired me to take it to the next level and become a preschool teacher! I am so excited to have the chance to work with each and every preschooler throughout this year. Miss Hailey

Hi! My name is Miss Hailey. I am 16 years old and a junior at Bacon Academy. When I was a freshman I took Early Childhood and when I was a sophomore I took Middle Childhood. Over the summer and during my freshman and sophomore year on the weekends, I would baby sit for different families with children 2-11. This year, I am very excited to have the chance to bond with the preschoolers and experience what it is like to become a teacher in the beginner bobcat preschool.

Miss Mickayla

Hi!! My name is Miss Mickayla! I am 15 years old, and I am a Sophomore at Bacon Academy. When I was a Freshman, I took the class Early Childhood, and I have been babysitting for my cousins 8, and 5 for a few years, since they were little. I am excited to become a preschool teacher this year, since something I am looking into when I’m older is to be an actual preschool teacher. Something I am specifically looking forward to, is to meet everyone and bond with them and help them grow! I can’t wait for the start of the year!

Hey! My name is Miss Miley! I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Bacon Academy. Growing up as one of the older kids in a home daycare facility I have been working with little kids my whole life. I have also taken the Early childhood class offered here at bacon and im looking forward to taking middle childhood this year! I am so excited to be a teacher this year and build special bonds with each and every one of the kids while helping them learn and grow as a person!

Miss Cadence

Hello!! My name is Miss. Cadence, I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Bacon Academy! When I was a freshman last year I took Early Childhood and this year I will be taking Middle Childhood over the course of the year. I am also a part-time babysitter for kids and have lots of experience with that and with my younger sibling. This year, I am extremely excited to be part of this BBPS program and becoming a teacher! One thing I am particularly excited for is to meet all of the preschoolers and create a special bond with each and every one of them. I cannot wait for preschool this year!!
