My name is Angelia Campbell and I am the Intervention Teacher at Colbert County High School. This year begins my 25th year here at CCHS. I began my teaching career here at CCHS in 1999. I started out as a para-professional and then transitioned into teaching 9th grade World History in the Fall of 2004. During my time here, I have taught 9th-grade World History, 10th-grade US History, 11th-grade US History, and credit recovery for all grades and courses. I also have been facilitating summer school since 2009. I have been married to my husband Brian since February 2003. We have two children, Anbria and Brennan. Anbria is a sophomore at UNA and a 2024 graduate of CCHS. Brennan is in the 11th grade and plays baseball. I have a very sweet Australian Shepard at home named Ty, who keeps us on our toes with his grand adventures! We recently added a new addition to our furbaby family. Her name is CoraBelle and she is a Schnollie (a schnauzer, poozle, collie mix). She has way more grand adventures than Ty could ever dream of!! In my spare time, I love to read and cross-stitch.
My main goal as the CCHS interventionalist is to help struggling students and measure their progress throughout the school year. This includes providing academic support to students, help them catch-up on missing assignments/tests, and advocate for the student with their teachers and other school staff when there is an academic need.
