EDUCATION FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENTS

$19,340 AWARDED

Mrs. Beth Brickner, 4th grade teacher at Hatton Elementary School, received $480 for classroom headphones.

Mrs. Kellie Walker, Special Education teacher at Hatton Elementary School, received $1,016 for Model Me Social Skills Curriculum.

Mrs. Kasey Williams, K-6th grade teacher at Hatton Elementary School, received $400 for a classroom projector.

Mrs. Heather Pendley, Librarian at Hatton Elementary School, received $580 for STEAM Lab materials.

Mrs. Kayla Woodruff, 2nd grade teacher at Leighton Elementary School, received $500 for STEAM Lab materials.

Mrs. Mary Underwood, Librarian at Leighton Elementary School, received $3,003 for STEAM Lab textbooks.

Mrs. Jennifer Morgan, English teacher at Colbert County High School, received $874 for a Chromebook Cart.

Mrs. Juanica Baugh, Science teacher at Colbert County High School received $1436 for Forensics materials.

Mr. Logan Pouncey, Band Director at Colbert County High School, received $3,297 for a ViewSonic ViewBoard.

Mrs. Renee Thorton, English teacher at Colbert County High School, received $335 for English books.

Mrs. Melonie Winsett, English teacher at Colbert Heights High School, received $916 for a Memorial Garden honoring late students. Students wrote this grant and collaborated on the design and materials needed for this project.

Mr. Matthew Crosswhite, Mathematics and Robotics teacher at Colbert Heights High School, received $1456 for a 70" flatscreen and mobile cart for visual instruction needs.

Mrs. Brittany Roberson, 2nd grade teacher at Colbert Heights Elementary School, received $2,540 for a ViewSonic Board. This interactive television will manipulate textbooks digitally and allow for student centered activities.

Mrs. Amy Michael, Librarian at Colbert Heights Elementary School, received $500 for STEAM materials.

Mrs. Brittany Leathers, 1st grade teacher at New Bethel Elementary School, received $545 for STEAM materials.

Mrs. Samantha Worsham, 1st grade teacher at New Bethel Elementary School, received $712 for Writing Workshop Materials.

Mrs. Jessica Fuller, English teacher at Cherokee High School. received $250 for independent reading materials.

Mrs. Kary Pierson, Language Arts teacher at Cherokee High School, received $500 for a large dry erase board.
