Student Work and Class Effort
Students should come to school prepared to complete assignments and participate in class. Our goal at CHS is to prepare students to be College and Career ready upon graduation and this preparation begins in 7th grade. Students that miss assignments will have 1 week to make up the work. After that week, students will receive a grade of “0” for the assignment, unless prior arrangements are made with the teacher. Parents will be notified by Remind, text or email when students are missing assignments. Students that habitually turn work in late or do not complete assignments will meet with the RTI leadership team to complete a Plan of Improvement. The administration may deny permission to students that are missing assignments to attend fieldtrips, club meetings or other extra school activities.
