The Food Pantry is located in the Parish Center and is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to Noon. The Pantry is available to residents of Cohoes and Watervliet and proof of residency (current bill, rent receipt, etc.), is required for new applicants. The food pantry provides non-perishable food items, as well as toiletries and paper products; occasionally fresh fruit and vegetables are available. Clients may come every 30 days for food and must call 518-257-2501 before coming in. Pick up is at the Simmons Avenue entrance off the parking lot.

A free meal is offered every Saturday evening at the United Church of Cohoes. Doors open at 4pm and the meal is served 4:30 - 5:30. The Clothing Room is open during the meal for shopping.

Farmers' Market Nutrition Program
The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) provides payment assistance to women with infants and children up to age 5 through the WIC program, for the purchase of locally grown, fresh fruits and vegetables.
