Following the Closing Ceremony, we will be in touch with winning Team Captains to determine how they would like to allocate the API credits among team members.

We also recommend you plan week by week what landmarks you would like to hit over the 6 weeks of the expedition.

We strongly recommend setting a weekly meeting with your team to ensure you are on track and plan for the week ahead

set a recurring meeting - same time each week to avoid the operational overhead of scheduling each week
invite all team members with a calendar link so it adds to their personal calendars

In order to issue you with Cohere API credits, please fill out this application form. Before you fill out the form, please register a Cohere account, and ensure you fill out the form with the email address associated with the account. We can only issue credits to email addresses that already have an account.

1️⃣ Make your project known
Add it to the sign-up sheet, share details here and indicate you are accepting new members
Start a thread in #expedition-project-ideas to share more info
Pitch the project at Crew Connections, add 1 slide here.
2️⃣ Engage with interested parties
When people indicate interest on the sign-up sheet, follow up with them on Discord!
In the project thread, lead discussions, asking for people's input and perspective, tagging in those who have already indicated interest
In the Crew Connections break out rooms, get to know people who are interested by asking them what excites them about the project, their experience, etc.
host your own 30 min intro call to get to know people, and discuss next steps
3️⃣ Gauge interest
see who is answering questions / discussions you start in your discord thread
start a project scope and ask everyone to start adding to it
see who is excited to engage at Crew Connections
4️⃣ Select your core team of 5
select your team based on complimentary skills sets, and engagement. Let me and @Brittawnya @ C4AI know and we can set you up with next steps including a private channel to work with your team.
