Katherine Pettit, LMSW, QMHP, CGP
I am a clinical therapist licensed in Michigan with over 6 years of experience working with substance use and co-occurring disorders. I have assisted clients with depression and anxiety, relapse prevention, codependency and other mental health diagnoses.
I believe that each client is the expert of their own life, and it is my job to assist them in achieving their goals through empowerment and self-determination. Utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused perspectives and trauma informed practices I partner with each client to create a person-centered plan to make their desired ambitions a reality.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

~In a world where time is short, lives are in crisis, and there aren’t enough mental health resources, Better Help comes along and offers an opportunity to learn from a golden woman who totally gets it. Katherine is exceptional because she has experienced the tough times and endured hardships and complications herself. Everyone knows you can’t talk to a priest about marriage! But you can talk to Katherine about anything. She listens and hears you, she fills every session with integrity and truly is genuine with her caring responses and helpful options.
