About Me

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education with Dual Licensure in Elementary Education from Western Governors University, and I truly love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally.

I grew up in Fort Mill, South Carolina, but I've called Lancaster County home for the past 20 years. I love being part of this community and feel fortunate to teach and support the amazing students and families here.

When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my favorite people—my 16-year-old twins, Luke and Lily, who are rising juniors at Buford High School. Luke is an avid golfer and fisherman who enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he can. Lily is a talented artist and photographer with a creative eye and a passion for capturing the beauty in everyday moments. They definitely keep life fun and exciting!

If I have a free weekend, there's a good chance you'll find me relaxing on the beach at Edisto Beach, South Carolina—my happy place! And during football season, you can count on me to be cheering on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
