Eureka Math is organized into year-long modules, with each module focusing on a specific area of mathematics such as place value, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, geometry, measurement, or data. The modules are designed to build on one another, allowing students to deepen their understanding and develop strong mathematical skills throughout the school year. As students progress through each module, they will practice, apply, and master new concepts before moving on to the next topic.

Teacher Slides:

Lesson Slides are used each day to introduce new math concepts through engaging visuals, discussions, and hands-on activities. They guide students step by step as they explore new skills, practice problem-solving, collaborate with classmates, and build confidence before completing independent work. Parents can use the lesson slides to see what their child is learning and reinforce concepts at home.

Example of Module 2 Assessment

Module Assessments are given at the end of each Eureka Math module to measure your child's understanding of the skills and concepts taught throughout that unit. These assessments help identify strengths, monitor progress, and determine any areas where additional support or practice may be beneficial before moving on to the next module.

Exit Tickets

Exit Tickets are short, end-of-lesson assessments that give students an opportunity to demonstrate what they learned that day. They help teachers quickly check for understanding, identify any areas where students may need additional support, and use that information to guide future instruction.
