Coffi Tech respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This notice explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it.

Coffi Tech is run by Gareth Owen, based on Ynys Môn. We provide espresso machine servicing, inspections, and compliance testing. If you have any questions about this notice or how we use your data, you can contact us at gareth@coffitech.co.uk.

When you use our services, we may collect your name and contact details (phone number, email address), your business name and address, service history for your coffee equipment, and invoice and payment information.

We use this information to book and carry out service appointments, keep records of inspections (required under PSSR 2000), issue invoices and manage payments, and communicate with you about your equipment and our services. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

Our legal basis for using your data is contract (we need your details to provide the service you have asked us to deliver), legal obligation (we are required to keep inspection and service records), and legitimate interests (to keep in touch with you about essential service updates).

We keep service and inspection records for 5 years to meet legal requirements. Contact and billing information is kept for as long as you are a client and for 6 years afterwards to meet HMRC and accounting rules.

We may share your data with CoffeeSafe (for compliance purposes, where required), our accountant and HMRC (for invoicing and tax purposes), and IT or hosting providers who securely store our records.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update your details, ask us to delete your data where we are not legally required to keep it, and complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how we use your data.
