Our Story – WHOA! by Núria

Welcome to WHOA!, the specialty coffee brand we created with our own hands — and hearts — right here at Nuria Coffee Studio, our family-owned café in the heart of Bucharest.

We started Nuria out of a dream. Not a big corporate plan. Not a franchise formula. Just two people — passionate about people, obsessed with flavor, and in love with coffee — who turned an old garage near the Arch of Triumph into a creative, soulful café where quality and community come first.

We named it Nuria after the goddess of light and justice. Because we believe coffee should energize and uplift — not just keep you awake.

From the very first day, we wanted to serve more than just a cup. We wanted to craft an experience. That’s why we worked with specialty roasters, and carefully personally designed every detail of our space — from the handmade interiors to our terrace — to feel like a second home for every guest.

But something kept brewing inside us.

The more we grew, the more we knew: we wanted to create our own signature coffee. Something bold, surprising, and deeply personal. That’s how WHOA! was born — our own in-house specialty coffee brand, roasted with intention and fueled by our passion for unforgettable taste.
