CodeTailor ("we", "our", "us") operates the EMF Meter mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
The App accesses your device's magnetometer (magnetic field sensor) to measure electromagnetic field (EMF) levels. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
When you record measurement sessions, the data (EMF readings, timestamps) is stored locally on your device. You may choose to export this data as CSV files. We do not collect or store this data on our servers.
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including:
App opens and screen views
Device type and operating system version
Country and language settings
App crashes and errors
This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Our free version displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect:
Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
IP address (for approximate location-based ads)
Device information
You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings. EMF Meter Pro subscribers do not see any advertisements.
If you subscribe to EMF Meter Pro, your payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
EMF Meter Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription with two plans:
Weekly subscription
Monthly subscription
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
If you opt in to push notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications. We store a device token to deliver notifications but do not link it to your personal identity.
We use your information to:
Provide EMF measurement functionality
Improve app performance and fix bugs
Display relevant advertisements (free version only)
Send push notifications (if opted in)
Manage your subscription status
We do not sell your personal information. We share anonymous data only with:
Google Firebase — for analytics and crash reporting
Google AdMob — for advertising (free version only)
Apple / Google — for subscription and payment management
All measurement data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal data. Analytics data is stored on Google Firebase servers and is subject to Google's privacy practices. Subscription status is stored locally on your device and verified with Apple or Google servers.
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You have the right to:
Delete your local measurement data by clearing app data or uninstalling the App
Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
Disable push notifications through your device settings
Cancel your subscription at any time through App Store or Google Play Store settings
Request information about data we process (contact us via email)
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. Changes are effective when posted.
