About Me

Alex Varnado is on a mission to turn Memphis into Stemphis! He values teaching underrepresented youth how to become producers of technology, instead of just consumers. Alex started assisting nonprofits such as Stem4Fem & CodeCrew in 2022 and has impacted over 250 students locally and internationally!

In each workshop, youth will receive the necessary information to start, manage, operate their business through both interactive lectures & the ultimate hands on experience! During this workshop, kids learned how to create a mobile app based on a business they want to start!

The Link Up Memphis

The Link Up Memphis is inclusive, diverse, and intentional about providing a safe space for people to develop new professional relationships. During this event, I held a workshop where adults who never coded before assist in making a mobile app for the networking event.
