I am a 3rd grade math/science teacher and math instructional coach at Coldspring Intermediate.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's degree in Education.  My teaching career began in 1998 in Montgomery.  I taught there for 9 years before transferring to teach at David Elementary in Conroe ISD for 16 years.  This is the beginning of my 29th year and fourth, here in Coldspring.  In those years I had experience in teaching 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.  I love to teach students math at the third grade level because I believe it is math that is used throughout life.  

I am married with two 2 adult, married children.  We have one grandson and another grandbaby on the way!   We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a donkey.  :)  Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family, hiking in the mountains, and reading historical fiction.  I help teach a Sunday school class at the church we attend.
