The primary focus of this course is to meet the math academic needs of the students. This course will combine high quality instruction, research-based interventions aligned with student need, frequent monitoring of student progress, and use of student data in making important educational decisions.

I began teaching in 1997 after graduating from Texas A&M. I later went back to school for a masters in curriculum and instruction. I love showing all of my students that they can learn and they can be successful. It is important that they understand their effort matters so they will take ownership in their own learning. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy fishing, reading and spending time with my grown children. You can reach me at jlablue@cocisd.org
