Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
In compliance with the Philippine Coast Guard Law of 2009 (RA 9993) and other issuances in consonance with relevant national and international laws, regulations and conventions, the Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) is committed to provide excellent services to educate train and continuously develop coastguardians for them to be equipped with basic, advance and strategic coast guard knowledge and skills necessary to make them coastguardians with competence, capability and character worthy of public trust.
In order to achieve this commitment, the CGETDC has provided framework for setting its objective by presently maintaining its Regional Training Centers (RTC) namely RTC Aurora, RTC Bataan RTC Capiz, RTC La Union, RTC Masbate, RTC Misamis Oriental, RTC Palawan, RTC Taguig, and RTC Zamboanga. The Commander, CGETDC, through the Deputy Commander, CGETDC and the Chief of Training Staff as well as the Central Staff and Special Staff are essential components for the effective and efficient control and supervision of all CGETDC subordinate units namely Philippine Coast Guard Academy (PCG Academy), Coast Guard Non- Officers' School (CGNOS), Coast Guard School for Special Maritime Affairs (CGSSMA), Leadership and Doctrines Development Center (LDDC) and the CGETDC Installations and Service Support Group (CISSG).
The Headquarters CGETDC is committed to establish, implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) within the framework of Government Quality Management Systems Standards (GMSS). The documented Quality Management System shall attest that the Coast Guard Education, Training and Doctrine Command commits itself to continually improve the delivery of its services.
The CGETDC shall inspire a component wide commitment to this Policy and shall ensure that it is objectively understood, implemented, maintained and monitored in all levels of the Organization This Quality Policy shall be reviewed regularly to ensure suitability and effectiveness
