CCE stands for Continuing Coach Education, a formal way for credentialed coaches to maintain and deepen their professional development. If you hold an ICF credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC), you’re required to renew it every three years by completing 40 hours of CCE units:
Core Competency CCEs: Focused on ICF’s coaching skills and ethical standards.
Resource Development CCEs: Broader learning, tools, business development, personal growth, etc.
These credits ensure your coaching stays sharp, ethical, and aligned with ICF’s global standards.
For more information on Continuing Coach Education and credential renewal requirements, please refer to ICF Global’s official CCE overview.
