Lucy Beltran, born in Mexico City, immigrated in 1996 to Oregon USA. She has worked as a parent educator at the regional level for more than 28 years in different organizations. She has presented nationally and internationally at different workshops at conferences for parents. 

 She earned the AA'S in Early Education and Family Services, and is certified by the state of Oregon as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in Adult Mental Health and Family Specialist (FSS)
