Welcome to the 7th Annual Early Childhood and Early Elementary Educators Conference!
We are so glad you’re here for Bridges to the Future: Connecting Early Learning to Kindergarten. Our goal during this conference is to empower you, our dedicated early learning professionals and elementary teachers, as you bridge the gap for the children in our communities. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen the transition into those vital early school years.
These two days are centered on exploration, integration, and connection. You will have the opportunity to:
Dive into self-selected workshops covering Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Supporting Children with Special Needs, and more.
Learn from peers who share your passion for student success.
Discover new strategies to advance educational and transition opportunities for our local youth.
This event is made possible by the commitment and hard work of our community partners:
Polk County Family & Community Outreach
Western Oregon University
The Marion & Polk Early Learning Hub
Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency Child Care Resource and Referral
A special thank you to Western Oregon University for hosting us and providing this beautiful space for collective learning.
The conversation doesn't have to end when the conference does! To stay involved and connected, please reach out to Stephanie Gilbert at gilbert.stephanie@co.polk.or.us or Abby Warren at warren.abby@co.polk.or.us
Enjoy your time, lean into the learning, and thank you for everything you do for our children!
