Judith Murillo Tuesta was born in Lima, Peru, and holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s in early childhood education from Concordia University. With over eight years of teaching experience, including Montessori settings, she is passionate about supporting immigrant and refugee families. At the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), she manages a team of early learning parent educators and previously directed the Preschool Promise program, where she helped design curriculum. Judith enjoys exploring nature, traveling with her family, and discovering Portland’s diverse culinary scene.
