Cindy Ryan is a lifelong early childhood practitioner and passionate advocate for young children and families. With a rich and varied career spanning roles as an early interventionist, early childhood special education teacher, and inclusive early childhood educator. Cindy brings deep experience and insight into the field.

Since 2011, she has been a faculty member at Western Oregon University, where she teaches early childhood and special education courses, coordinates the Early Childhood Program, and directs the annual ECI Summer Institute. Cindy’s work is grounded in her commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusive practices.
