ORO Set 1
Human Growth & Development
Engineering is everywhere, and it's not just bridges. Children and adults innovate every day and by helping families see their children’s learning, we are building a kinder, more competent future. Learn about how to engage in engineering activities with children (ages 0-5+) and see how it builds stronger social skills and higher academic achievement. Rather than solving problems FOR their children, parents/caregivers can be provided with strategies to see the capabilities of their children, respond with developmentally appropriate support, and grow WITH their children. This workshop will explore the engineering design process and how you can create and co-create engineering opportunities for children and families in the classroom environment and at home.
