Enrollment Discrepancies

District enrollment includes ALL students, even those assigned to different programs within the district & outside of the district

• Example: A district-enrolled student may attend an Alternative Program, or a GED program at a BOCES that may be in another district.

• Example: A district-enrolled student may need to attend a special program that may only be available at another district (such as a Deaf & Hard of Hearing program).

• Example: A district enrolled student may be home-schooled or home bound.

• Not every district can house every necessary program for their district students.

Food service software enrollment ONLY includes active students

• Food service software reports will only include those students attending one of the licensed buildings that are established within the software. Food service software reports will NOT include district-enrolled students attending programs at buildings that are not licensed within the software.

• For NUTRIkids, all active students that are not imported will be listed on the DDU log.

• For Mosaic, all active students that are not imported will be listed on the Import Results log.

District enrollment & food service student counts will never match

• If a student eats a reimbursable meal at the district, then goes to BOCES, the meal is claimable at the district. BOCES will have their own meal counts for Free/Reduced/Paid.

It is important that all district students are all listed for DCMP and Application processing. Each district is responsible for sharing DCMP and Application information with another district or BOCES program if a student moves out of a district.
