By taking “The road less traveled” in minor league baseball all over the country and by playing for several former major league player/managers, Coach Billingsley has experienced every facet of the game and learned what it takes to make it to the next level. He says that a relentless drive to get better every day, the ability to communicate with your coaches/ management, and the strength to battle through obstacles and set-backs are the 3 most important factors in not only baseball, but in life. Towards the end of his career, he became very involved in the mental side of the game. Coach believes that perfecting mechanics are only half the battle and that a clear mental focus and the ability to clear your mind in times of stress and slow things down are keys to success in the next level. His goal is to help his players have an easier road to the next level and to create a seamless transition between our program and college.
