It starts with our administrators: leading, teaching and practicing inclusivity with our staff as a whole.
It takes our staff being inclusive in their individual practices, and building positive and trusting relationships. This will ultimately lead to inclusiveness for all students.
Students will develop inclusive mindsets, empathy, and compassion which will create a welcoming school environment for all.
Our Prado View Elementary Buddies Program provides students the opportunity to develop meaningful friendships with neuro-diverse students, or students with different abilities. Our PALS Program teachers partner with our General Education teachers to give students weekly opportunities to engage in art, music, games, reading, and adapted PE activities together. The Buddies Program benefits ALL students!
