Financial Aid Vocabulary

An index number determine a student’s eligibility for certain types of Federal Student Aid based on answers submitted to the FAFSA. 

Every college/university is required to have a net price calculator on their website. This allows prospective students to enter information about themselves to find out what students like them paid to attend the institution in the previous year, after taking grants and scholarship aid into account.
